By accessing or using Minerva ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the platform.
2. Privacy Policy Agreement
By using Minerva, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Your use of our service constitutes acceptance of our data collection, usage, and protection practices as outlined in the Privacy Policy.
3. Age Restrictions
Minerva is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. By using our service, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract. Users under 18 are prohibited from accessing or using the platform.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to use Minerva in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, and you will not engage in any activity that violates the rights of others or is illegal.
- Minerva is not responsible for any misuse or harm caused by improper use of the platform.
5. Prohibited Uses
- You agree not to use Minerva for any illegal, malicious, or harmful purposes, including but not limited to harassment, identity theft, or any activity that infringes upon the privacy rights of individuals.
- You will not attempt to access or collect data from the platform through unauthorized means, including scraping, hacking, or exploiting system vulnerabilities.
- You are strictly prohibited from attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise analyze the underlying code, structure, or functionality of Minerva.
- You will not use Minerva to investigate individuals without a legitimate purpose or legal right to do so.
- Using Minerva for pre-employment screening, tenant screening, or credit decisions without proper legal authorization is prohibited.
- Creating false or misleading reports based on Minerva data is strictly forbidden.
6. Ethical Use & Investigation Standards
- Users must conduct investigations ethically and within legal boundaries. Minerva is not responsible for how users apply or act upon the information obtained.
- Users agree not to use Minerva for stalking, harassment, or any form of malicious investigation that could harm individuals.
- Information obtained through Minerva should not be used for discriminatory purposes including employment decisions, credit evaluations, or insurance underwriting without proper legal authorization.
7. Data Accuracy & Third-Party Sources
Minerva aggregates data from multiple third-party sources and public databases. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data provided. Users are responsible for verifying information independently before taking any action based on search results. We are not liable for decisions made based on potentially inaccurate or outdated information.
8. Data Export & Usage
- Downloaded or exported data from Minerva is for your personal or legitimate business use only.
- You may not redistribute, sell, or share exported data with third parties without proper authorization.
- Any use of exported data must comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- We reserve the right to limit or restrict data export functionality at any time.
9. Searches, Payments & Refunds
- Searches purchased on Minerva are non-refundable and non-transferable except as required by law.
- Daily searches expire within 24 hours if unused. Purchased searches do not expire but cannot be refunded.
- All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store payment information.
- Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, subject to a 7-day review period.
10. API Usage Terms
- API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas as defined in your subscription plan.
- API users must implement proper attribution and may not white-label or resell API access without explicit permission.
- API keys are confidential and must not be shared. Users are responsible for all activity conducted using their API credentials.
- We reserve the right to terminate API access for violation of these terms or excessive usage.
11. Service Availability
We strive to maintain Minerva's availability and functionality. However, we do not guarantee that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.
12. Intellectual Property
The content, design, and functionality of Minerva, including text, logos, graphics, and software, are owned by us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You agree not to copy, distribute, or use any content from Minerva without prior written consent.
13. Alting (Account Duplication)
Creating or using multiple accounts (alting) for the purpose of bypassing restrictions, evading bans, or manipulating the platform is strictly prohibited. Any user found engaging in alting will have their accounts suspended or terminated without notice, at our discretion.
14. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Minerva at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason at all, including but not limited to violations of these Terms and Conditions.
15. Data Retention & Deletion
Search results and user data are retained according to our Privacy Policy. Users may request deletion of their account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements. Some data may be retained for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance purposes.
16. Limitation of Liability
Minerva will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the platform. This includes damages caused by errors, bugs, or interruptions in service. Under no circumstances shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for Minerva services in the 12 months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country]. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Minerva shall be resolved in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction], and you consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
18. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, or network failures.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
21. Security Monitoring & Abuse Reporting
Prohibited Activities
- Automated scanning or probing for exposed endpoints, configuration files (such as .env, .git, admin panels), or system vulnerabilities
- Spamming or abuse of API endpoints including excessive requests, rate limit violations, or unauthorized API usage
- Brute force attacks, credential stuffing, or unauthorized access attempts
- Exploitation attempts, injection attacks, or any form of malicious code execution
- Denial-of-service attacks or attempts to overwhelm our infrastructure
- Unauthrized pentesting or security testing without prior consent
Detection and Reporting
- Our systems actively monitor all traffic patterns and automatically flag suspicious activities for review by our system administrator
- IP addresses identified by our system administrator as engaging in continuous malicious behavior will be reported to their Internet Service Provider's abuse contact email and submitted to AbuseIPDB
- Reports will include detailed logs, timestamps, attack signatures, and evidence of malicious activities to assist in investigation
- Severe or persistent violations may be escalated to law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity organizations
Enforcement Actions
- Immediate account termination and permanent IP blocking for detected malicious activities
- Legal action may be pursued against individuals or entities engaging in illegal activities
- By accessing our platform, you consent to security monitoring and acknowledge that malicious activities will be investigated and reported by our system administrator
